Boulder is a city in Colorado that houses Colorado University. It is a new age, hippy-modern Subaru loving piece of shit town, but besides Denver it is the only place in the state worth going.

The legal drinking age in the United States.
After Prohibition, the age was usually 18 depending on the state, but then in the 1980s President Reagan created a highway subsidy program which basically bribed the states under the condition that the drinking age was raised to 21.
As a result, immaturity, irresponsibility, partying, DUI, and bar attendance increased by an additional 3 years, which continues to this day.
When you compare America to European countries which don't have a legal drinking age, you realize that this behavior is irreversible in the short term and thus no politician will ever lower the drinking age back to 18. Except the Libertarian Party or maybe Ron Paul.
I'm 21, I'm too old for getting drunk and partying. Time to get a job.

Halloween

College
A magical place where it is rumored that learning takes place, although to those who enter it is often described differently afterward, as a beatiful land in which beer flows in amber currents next to a golden pasture, where virgins lie naked with gentle smiles upon their calm, inviting faces; but more precisely, a Shangri-La rite of passage into adulthood which involves rampant consumption of alcoholic beverages, flagrant and promiscuous sexual behavior, and a general and fundamental disregard for any form of responsibility by its habitants.

France
1) A Western European nation. Located slightly beneath Britain, in most or all senses.
2) Produces nice wine.
3) Produces nice cheese.
4) Produces shedloads of nuclear weapons, which are happily tested on small Pacific atolls home to endangered species of fish and pygmies.
5) The number one source of irritation for the rest of Europe. This manages to go unnoticed by many Americans, who assume the continent is a single amorphous blob.
6) Also the number one source of contention for the United States, having replaced the Soviet Union.
7) Has an annoying accent.
8) Dislikes British beef. This, as theory and experiment have shown, is due to France's argumentative and overly vegetarian wussiness and has nothing whatsoever to do with life-threatening brain disease.
9) Dislikes Germany, for invading it repeatedly and being German.
10) Dislikes Britain for constant warfare, political disagreement and out of habit.
11) Dislikes the United States for its competition in the 'irritating accents' league table and also for having more nuclear weapons and cheese than France.
12) Dislikes.... well, most things, actually.
13) Is a thoroughly splendid country.
14) Is filled with thoroughly un-splendid French people.

Movember
Held in November, this is the month in which people gather together to grow and compare mostaches. Participants begin the month clean shaven and cultivate their mostaches throughout the month. The month climaxes with participants comparing and appeciating each others mostaches in a manly, non gay way.
